![]() ![]() ![]() I was just bored for a few minutes and played around. Listen folks I don't want to debate my testing methods - if you have a micrometer and care at all - have a go. The Wynn's that I have are thicker than standard Tally's. How much pressure is enough? I don't know either. If you take a deck of cards and simply measure the thickness that's one thing - then consider that you would have to compress that deck slightly to get rid of warping, trapped air, etc. For example, standard Tally's are not as thick as the Bicycle Karnival deck - but are stiffer.Īs for me I prefer the Gold Bikes or plain old Standard Bikes (always blue).Īctually I think measuring the entire deck might increase the inaccuracy - adding the factor of air cushioning to the mix. Some thinner cards are actually stiffer than some thicker cards. After measuring I can say one thing for certain - the thickness of each card is not directly related to the stiffness. ![]() I broke out my grandfathers old micrometer and checked a few cards from each deck. After reading a few posts on peoples' favorite decks and the different characteristics etc - I had a few minutes and decided to check the actual thickness of the cards from all the decks that I've collected. ![]()
